You’ll be connected to our Customer Care Center, which is staffed by knowledgeable and courteous sales professionals at our workshop in Auburn, Maine. The Customer Care Center is open Monday-Thursday 9am-8pm, Friday: 9am-6:30pm, Saturday: 10am-6pm, and Sunday: 1pm-5pm (Eastern Time).
If you are near one of our showrooms, we encourage you to stop in to place your order, consult with a sales associate, or simply see that piece that you have had your eye on. We are proud of our catalog and website, but there really is no substitute for experiencing our furniture in person, and while you are there you’ll always be treated as if you were a guest in our home.
We build furniture on a customer request basis and require a 50% deposit to initiate your order. Upon receipt of your deposit, we will send you a written confirmation to ensure your order information is accurate. When your order is nearing completion we will contact you to arrange a delivery time. The balance will be due prior to shipment. We accept money orders, personal checks, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.
If your furniture is delivered to or picked up in any of the following states, we are required to charge applicable state sales tax: Maine (5.5%), Massachusetts (6.25%), New York (8.875%, plus local taxes in many cases), Washington, DC (5.75%), California (8.75%, plus local taxes in many cases), and Pennsylvania (6%). Please note that shipping fees are taxable in New York state, Pennsylvania, and Washington, DC.
Most orders take between 10 to 12 weeks to build. Delivery takes an additional 1 to 5 weeks depending on your location. When your order is nearing completion, we will contact you to schedule a date and time for delivery. Click here for more information about our delivery service and rates.
In some cases, furniture is available immediately off the showroom floor. These are most often small or one-of-a kind pieces. You may take them with you or we can arrange for shipping.
Our Lifetime Guarantee
If within the first 30 days after receiving any standard Thos. Moser product you do not remain completely satisfied with your purchase, we will provide you with a refund for the price of your piece or rebuild it. Proper care will ensure a lifetime of satisfied use from your Thos. Moser furniture. Should our furniture fail at any time during the life of the original owner because of workmanship or a failure of the wood materials, we will either repair or replace it. Upholstery components such as fabrics, leather, cane, and foam are warranted for a period of 5 years against material failure. Some custom requested wood species, finishes, fabric selections and modifications are excluded.
Sending a Gift?
We offer gift certificates that come in a ribbon-tied gift box, surrounded by wood shavings. The certificate can be issued for any amount and may be sent with a catalog. We can also enclose a gift card with your order. Gift-wrapping is available on small items. If your gift of a selected furniture piece will not be ready in time for the special occasion, we will gladly send a gift-boxed announcement with a photo of the piece you’ve chosen enclosed.
If you would like a personal inscription on a piece, we can attach an engraved brass plaque for $20.
