Lean back and relax.
In keeping with our tradition, Chaise makes no use of handles or gadgets. Its two positions are achieved with a simple lean, leaving gravity to do the work. The secret is in the geometry of the pivot, called a fulcrum, which is engineered to transfer an adult’s center of gravity from slightly upright to supine in one fluid motion.
Crafted from a series of carefully bent curves that form both the legs and the seat frame, the chair forms a graceful counterpoint to more traditional furniture. The seat is covered in a slender, artful cushion covered in luxurious leather, ensuring sufficient comfort for extended periods of reading, relaxing, and, almost inevitably, satisfied napping.

The Movement
The Chaise’s two positions are achieved with a simple lean, leaving gravity to do the work. The secret is in the geometry of the pivot, called a fulcrum, which is engineered to transfer an adult’s center of gravity from slightly upright to supine in one fluid motion.
The Frame
Crafted from a series of carefully bent curves that form both the legs and the seat frame, the chair forms a graceful counterpoint to more traditional furniture. We’ve replaced tubular steel with the warmth of natural hardwood and precision-crafted mortise-and-tenon joinery.
The Seat
Covered in a slender, artful cushion covered in luxurious leather, ensuring sufficient comfort for extended periods of reading, relaxing, and, almost inevitably, satisfied napping.
It’s All In the Details
Our Chaise takes its inspiration from contemporary furniture designs created by European architects in the 1920’s and 1930’s, following a cue from the likes of Finnish architect Alvar Aalto and Swiss-born architect and designer Le Corbusier.
