Payment
We accept American Express, Visa, Discover, MasterCard for online orders.

For made-to-order items, we require a 50% deposit, with the balance due prior to shipment. At the time of check-out, you have the option to pre-authorize the remaining balance to be charged to your credit card when your order is nearing completion. If you do not select this option, we will contact you to arrange payment closer to the shipping date.

For ready-to-ship items, we require payment in full prior to shipping.

Sales Tax
Taxes are estimated. Actual tax charges based on applicable laws will be calculated when your order is shipped.

Upholstery Selections
Due to the large and ever-changing number of upholstery and leather options that are available, we have made our most popular options available to you. However, for additional colors, prints or textures, or to use your own fabric, please arrange a consultation with a sales associate by calling 800.862.1973, visiting a showroom, or selecting “Customize This Piece” on the individual product page.

Shipping Your Order
Our delivery partners are committed to providing a white-glove delivery service that exceeds your expectations. Each piece is carefully blanket-wrapped for shipment. Upon arrival, your furniture will be unpacked and positioned in any room you choose, and all packing materials will be removed. In some instances, for smaller items, remote locations, or orders with special delivery needs, an alternate carrier may be used. Delivery destinations outside of the contiguous United States or locations that require boat or ferry service will require a shipping quote. Our handling and delivery fee is 10% of the regular list price for all standard pieces (please note that shipping fees are taxable in DC. For standard pieces priced over $7,500, the handling and delivery fee will not exceed $750 per item. Some custom pieces, pieces that need special handling and deliveries outside the contiguous United States or to places that are difficult to reach may require a custom quoted handling and delivery charge. There are no shipping fees or taxes on Gift Certificates.

Our furniture is made to order, requiring build times prior to shipping. Due to high demand, build times for most items is roughly 20 weeks. Depending upon the destination of your furniture, delivery may take an additional 2 to 7 weeks. Shortly after your order is placed, you will receive a written order confirmation with a completion date. When your order is complete we will contact you to schedule a date and time for delivery.

Custom Orders
On orders for custom pieces, we require a non-refundable $200 design deposit to initiate drawings for your approval. The deposit will be credited to your order. Due to the extra development time involved, build times on custom-designed pieces are generally 2-4 weeks longer than standard pieces. All Thos. Moser offers, sales, and promotions are subject to change without notice. All offers, sales and promotions exclude custom-designed products that are outside of our standard collection of products. Other Exclusions may apply.

Warranty  

Effective September 29, 2023.

Thos. Moser warranties its standard furniture designs for the original owner’s lifetime against failure due to workmanship or wooden components. Hardware, electrical, and upholstery components are covered under warranty for five years after delivery date.   

Custom Orders  

An order is considered custom if it is altered from our standard offering in any way; this includes customer’s own materials, alternate wood species, and other modifications to sizing or specs. Custom orders and orders incorporating non-standard electronics, hardware, or upholstery carry only the manufacturer’s warranty.  

Build Times and Delivery  

Our furniture is made to order, requiring build times prior to shipping. Upon payment of an initial deposit, each order will receive an Estimated Ship Date (ESD). The ESD is the date we anticipate completing your order and preparing it for shipment. Final payment will be requested 1-2 weeks prior to the ESD of your order. Delivery periods range between 1-7 weeks, depending on your location. If your furniture is being delivered via a common carrier (i.e., UPS, FedEx), you will automatically receive an email with tracking information. Storage fees may apply if you cannot accept your order once it has been scheduled for delivery. To avoid storage fees, communicate any building delays, travel, or other scenarios impacting delivery to your sales associate ahead of the ESD.  

Cancellations 

Thos. Moser furniture is handmade to order. Orders can be canceled without penalty up to 90-days ahead of the original ESD. Orders canceled within 90-days of the ESD are subject to processing and restocking fees. Restocking fees range from 15-50% of the deposit paid and are dependent upon the work completed and materials acquired for the order. Cancellation of custom orders is permitted within 5-business days of drawing approval. Deposits on custom orders become non-refundable 5-business days after initial deposit or drawing approval where required.   

Returns  

Returns for circumstances outside of warranty coverage are accepted within 30-days of delivery. Pieces must be in first-quality condition and are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Original shipping charges are non-refundable. The purchaser is responsible for return shipping. A refund will be delivered upon receipt and review of the item. Custom pieces are non-returnable outside of workmanship or failure of wooden components.
