Sleigh Bed – Curved Footboard
Our Sleigh Bed presents a contemporary articulation of the 18th-century grace and elegance of its French origins, elevated by a singular simplicity and the desire for modern comfort. A rare application of a framed laminated solid hardwood panel produces the headboard’s dramatic single curve. With or without a complementary footboard, our Sleigh Bed features the reinforcement of a full bolt system through the bed into the side rail in order to reinforce and ensure its original solidity for the many years of its life. The bed’s solid wood fabrication celebrates the wood’s dense, inimitable grain, and is finished to a softness that contrasts with its inherent durability.
