Craftsperson, 2003

I saw a stack of Thos. Moser catalogs at a Maine boat show in 2002, and it immediately grabbed me. I grew up in a boatbuilding family, so woodworking is in my blood. I had taken some workshops at the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship, so I put in my application here. The next thing I knew, I’d been here nearly 20 years.

I enjoy working on custom tables the most. It’s fun when you can work with the designers to create something special for a given living space.

“There is such dedication here. People starting early or working late to keep a project on track is part of the culture.”
