I was heading down a very different career path, but after a while, I came to the conclusion that a desk job wasn’t for me. I yearned for a profession where I could show something tangible at the end of the day, and working in wood really appealed to me.
In addition to learning the craft, furniture building teaches patience, confidence, and the importance of collaboration. Many hands are involved before a piece of furniture goes to a customer.
