Originally designed and crafted by Tom Moser himself over 30 years ago, our High Stool was intended as a hard working piece. True to the creative spirit of Thos. Moser, however, the enduring value of our High Stool lies in its ability to humbly serve both the artist at the easel and the craftsman at the bench. Both in inspiration, both in grace. Made from American cherry on four tapered ash legs, the seat itself is reminiscent of that of a tractor or a saddle, offering the same historic simplicity and remarkable comfort.

In wood and in artisanship, our High Stool is as sculpted on the bottom as it is on top, making it singularly pleasing and inviting to its use.

About Stool Heights
We offer four stool seat heights: 25" stools for standard 36" high counters; 27" stools for taller counters; and 31" stools for a 42" bar height. We also offer our Bowback Stool and High Stool in an 18” height (standard chair seat height) appropriate for a typical 30” high desk/table. If you require a custom height or are unsure, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help.
