​​Your Thos. Moser furniture is made from premium hardwood provided by nature. The unique characteristics and the subtle variations in grain and color are important elements in our designs. Great care is taken to skillfully match the individual boards that make up every piece of our furniture.

Our furniture is finished with oil and lacquer. After each piece of furniture is carefully hand-sanded, it receives a coat of our proprietary oil blend. A day’s drying time is allowed, and the piece is lightly sanded, ready for the final finish.

After oiling, our pieces are finished with catalyzed lacquer. This finish is water, solvent, and household chemical resistant and does not require routine maintenance.

To clean, dust regularly with a soft dry cloth. When necessary, furniture can be wiped with a slightly damp, soft cloth. Re-wipe any remaining moisture immediately with a dry cloth.

The Eight Drawer Side Chest shares its lineage with early Shaker designs. Made of a hardwood of your choosing, the chest features four drawers on either side, with smaller drawers at the top. The design is intentional, and allows for easy segregation of – and access to – everyday apparel. With a durable foot and wide top that extends beyond the edges of the case, the chest's linear form is captivating, and fits well with any choice of bedroom furnishings.

The chest's unique drawer arrangement enhances its visual appeal, with single plank faces accessible by hardwood knobs. The drawers move with ease on our trademark slides of solid hardwood regardless of atmospheric conditions. The drawers close nearly flush with the cabinet face, resting snug in their precision housing to create the illusion of a broad, almost uninterrupted front.

The Eight Drawer Side Chest rests on a trimmed wooden foot, which secures to the sides using exposed dovetail joints. The top is connected through the same traditional joinery, and its aesthetic is enhanced by its subtly-tooled edge, which eases the transition to the cabinet.
