Sweeping features and natural shapes.
In the Crescent Four Drawer Bureau, the front and back of the drawers are made of quarter-inch-thick laminated cherry or walnut allowing the drawers to maintain a consistent shape. The drawers are then skillfully joined at a square to the sides with dovetails. Extra care is taken to match the grain patterns on each drawer, creating a striking display of natural beauty.
Mortise and tenon joints connect the curved feet to the case providing optimal strength for bearing weight. The feet add delicate, yet functional detail to the presentation of the case. The contrasting drawer pull is made from ebonized cherry. You may also specify natural cherry or walnut drawer pulls by selecting the “Customize This Piece” option.
