The High Stool is inspired by the purity and austerity of traditional work. Made from cherry or walnut on four tapered ash legs, the seat itself is reminiscent of a tractor or a saddle, offering the same historic simplicity and remarkable comfort. The High Stool transcends utility in its craftsmanship, with a hand-sculpted seat shaped to follow natural human contours; sanded smooth to showcase the inimitable grain. The beauty of the seat’s purposeful form allows it to integrate with any interior design motif.

Artistry in wood.
Like its seat, the legs are designed with a purpose. Ash spindles are turned to form a reverse taper, rising to their greatest circumference where tenons enter the base of the seat. Spreaders – situated at each side, with two on the front for resting feet – secure the legs, and ensure the chair’s lifetime guarantee.
In wood and artisanship, our High Stool is as sculpted on the bottom as it is on top, making it pleasing and inviting to its use. Its efficiency makes its popularity as practical as it is emotional. Available in a variety of heights, it fits beneath a counter and rests comfortably with its companions – with plenty of room to spare.
