The bed juxtaposes gently curved half-moon crests against a strictly linear headboard, joined to seemingly float above the surface of the mattress. The bed rests on four tapered legs, stout and substantial at the base and narrowing as they climb to the matching curved crests, where they intersect in durable tenoned joints. The headboard of the bed is simple and elegant; presenting a broad expanse of solid wood. Secured at all four corners with square fasteners made from hammered fumed copper, the bed runners mesh with the legs, and provide a firm, movement-free stance through decades of use.

Please note: This bed is designed to accommodate 16” – 18” mattress and box spring combinations. The standard bolt covers for the American Bungalow Bed are hammered fumed copper.
