Thos. Moser Continuous Arm Chair, our signature piece. On sale until December 31, 2012..
To form the arms, eleven 1/10" knife-cut slices of the same board, called a flitch, are laminated together. Then each continuous arm is meticulously rasped, filed and sanded to a perfect smoothness. Strong, flexible northern ash spindles and legs are attached to the arm and the sculpted cherry seat, with wedged tenons for exceptional strength. Discreet knee braces eliminate the need for stretchers to support the legs.
