UPHOLSTERY OPTIONS

Choosing upholstery can be a challenging experience. Most of us know generally what we like, but when it comes to putting together a cohesive mood or style, we may need a little guidance. The folks in our Customer Care Center and showrooms are well-informed and ready to help you in your fabric selections. You can simply tell them your ideas and describe your existing furniture and fabrics, and they’ll go from there, narrowing down the plethora of choices to those few that will best suit your needs.

We are happy to contact our fabric vendors for you to order samples that will be shipped to your home for review. Once you make a selection, we can help you estimate yardage, predict fabric repeats (for aligning patterns while upholstering), and choose which fabric protection options are right for you.

You can also choose to supply a fabric of your own. If you do so, we will require a swatch of your fabric to confirm it can be successfully applied. Prices may vary according to your fabric choice, so please call us prior to placing your order.

FABRIC

Thos. Moser offers a selection of the finest quality fabrics from several of the world's leading textile manufacturers, including Pollack, Brentano Fabrics, Robert Allen®, and KnollTextiles, among others.

We also offer an excellent range of fabrics from Duralee, Maharam, and Anzea. Visit your local Thos. Moser Showroom to see and feel thousands of new swatches and samples!

With a wide selection of upholstery fabrics from several textile manufacturers, you can choose from a variety of colors and textures, including elegant plush mohair, soft chenille, durable ribbed weaves, SenSuede™, novaseude, velvets, and nubby tweeds. Patterned fabrics include plaids, subtle stripes, and tone-on-tone designs, intended to coordinate with any decor. The options are many, so let us help you find the best fit for your Thos. Moser furniture.

LEATHER

Leather is a beautiful choice for any furniture application. With proper care and maintenance, leather upholstery can literally last generations – a perfect match for our heirloom-quality furniture.

Thos. Moser chooses only top quality leathers to ensure that our upholstery meets the same exacting standards as our furniture. We select leathers for their softness, durability, and overall character, and offer a wide variety of textures and colors in the finest grades of natural and protected leathers for your consideration.

We offer three standard leather types, and each is available in an array of colors. Our protected leather, known as Caprone, is made from top-grain hides that are dyed for color consistency and have a water-based, clear topcoat for easier cleaning. Our standard natural leather, Decadence, is known for its soft supple hand with better color consistency than traditional anilines. We also offer a premium natural leather (requires an upcharge, quote available upon request) called Gaucholin III which is intended to satisfy the most discerning of leather customers. Dyed for color using a true “A” selection of raw material, Gaucholin III is one of the finest leathers you will ever see.
