Moser Contract
What began as a special request from a customer to come to our shop and participate in the creation of a desk has become a full-fledged program that has attracted participants from around the globe. Five years and 200 participants later, our
Customer in Residence
program continues to thrive.
Owing to that success, we are pleased to announce the launch of our first Weekend Workshop session. Join us this May in our Maine workshop for two days and work side-by-side with one of our master craftsmen building an heirloom of your very own, one that is guaranteed to last a lifetime.

Q.
Can I do a Saturday and Sunday instead of Friday and Saturday?
A.
Although there may be an opportunity for Saturday and Sunday sessions at some point in the future, we’d prefer to host you on Fridays and Saturdays. Our cabinetmakers are here in the shop Monday-Friday and we’d love for you to come and experience their busy, active work environment.
Q.
Can I make any other items than those listed?
A.
For this pilot session, we are excited to offer a selection of our customer’s favorite pieces. As our Weekend Workshop program grows, we may look to broaden our list of offerings for future sessions.
Q.
. Can I bring a guest?
A.
Yes. However, the fee includes only the participation of one person. Your guest would be welcomed to join you here at the workshop for a part of the session as an observer.
Q.
Where is your Auburn workshop?
A.
We are 30 minutes north of Portland, Maine right off I-95. 72 Wrights Landing, Auburn, Maine 04210.
Q.
Where can I stay?
A.
There are a variety of local hotels and motels in the area ranging from the historic Harraseeket Inn in Freeport to the Fireside Inn Motel in Auburn. We are happy to provide recommendations based on what level of accommodation you desire.
Q.
Do you provide transportation?
A.
No. You would be responsible for your own transportation to Maine and back and forth from your place of lodging.
Q.
Will my piece be fully complete upon my departure?
A.
With the exception of the final waxing process, yes.
Q.
What do I need to bring?
A.
Please bring comfortable work clothes and a few packing blankets to safely transport your piece home.
Q.
Can you arrange for shipping if I cannot take my piece with me?
A.
Absolutely. Feel free to inquire about shipping rates based on your final destination.
Q.
Will Tom be there?
A.
As you would imagine, Tom travels throughout much of the year, however, there is a good chance that he may indeed be here on the Friday session.
