The Pasadena Dining Chair has won a prestegious "Best of Year" award from Interior Design magazine : Thos. Moser

We are pleased to announce that the Pasadena Dining Chair has been named Best of Year in the Residential Dining Chair category at Interior Design magazine’s annual design competition. Finalists were selected by interior designers and architects via an online vote in October, and winners were determined by a jury of leading architects and designers. The magazine presented 64 awards for products and projects that were were submitted from all over the world at the third annual Best of Year Awards at New York's Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum.

“We are delighted to have been recognized at the BoY Awards,” said David Moser, designer of the Pasadena Collection. “We have always maintained that while our pieces may be rooted in tradition, they bring the best elements of modern design to bear as well. We feel very at home in a group of forward-thinking designers. We are honored to be included in this group.”

A modern, geometric hourglass defines both the Pasadena Side and Arm chairs, which continue the “motion” created by the collection’s dining table. There is only one straight angle on this chair, where the back and the seat joint are reinforced. The legs are faceted and splayed to provide stability without bulk. The seat is wide and comfortable, and the slender back of the side chair scrolls up from this strong foundation, comfortably supporting the sitter.
