BARBARA STRAUSSBERG

The Thos. Moser Philadelphia Showroom invites you to join us for a reception featuring the abstract expressionist works of artist Barbara Straussberg.

Barbara Straussberg is an abstract painter and has been a professional artist for 20 years. She exhibits her works nationally in galleries and museums and her acryllic paintings are included in numerous private collections. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania with a Distinction in Art Hsitory, and studied painting and printmaking at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. Her studio is located in the Norristown Arts building, a vibrant collection of artists’ studios and galleries.

An abstract artist whose primary form of expression is color Straussberg describes her painting as "a personal journey to find out how I can more fully express my response to the environment". On her journey she describes what she feels through paint in her own personal language. Color, line, form, surface texture, pattern and collage are among the most fequently used parts of Straussberg's personal language.
