"The Last Rays of Evening" on Oil, 36"x48" - $15,000

Jim Rodgers' work includes a wide range of subject matter from lush American and European landscapes to intimate genre paintings as well as elegant and sophisticated still life and floral renderings. Jim’s paintings reflect richness in tone and color in his style that comes from over 30 years of professional study and numerous sojourns throughout America and Europe. Mr. Rodgers' intention is to capture the mood of the scenes he has painted “en plein air” and rendered in his studio to give the viewer a glimpse of what he has experienced.

Chateauneuf du Pape" on Oil, 20"x24" - $4,700

Jim Rodgers was born in Northern New Jersey. He studied at the art students league in New York and also attended Ridgewood Art Institute where he studied landscape painting. Mr. Rodgers has won numerous awards including the Abigail & Willys Silvers Award-Bianco Gallery Show and Best in show-CCA National show at Ridgewood Art Society.

Jim Rodgers' collection of work is now on display thru January 28th, 2013.
