Join us for an artist's reception & book signing on Saturday, October 13th from 1 - 4PM.
Meet book author J Stanley Yake, Ph.D., and learn about TOSHIKO TAKAEZU: THE EARTH IN BLOOM a memoir celebrating life and works of this great artist.
Meet Studio 233 clay artist Jim Webb, as he demonstrates how he creates his one of a kind slab lamps and decorative shades. Jim’s artistic HANDBUILT lamps and ceramic pieces will be available to purchase.
Jim Webb’s work is largely reflective of time he spent as a student of Toshiko at Princeton where his interest in lighting and clay’s sculptural potential was formed.
