Marsha Heimbecker’s series is inspired by David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, a refuge for the protection and preservation of Africa’s wilderness, particularly for endangered species such as the elephant. The plight of these majestic beasts inspired Marsha to do a series of paintings highlighting these magnificent animals.

“My favorite memories are the little things… moments and stories shared by friends and family. I am taken with the beauty and magic of life, and try to capture these moments in my paintings.”
