Featured Artist in Soho
We are pleased to feature William Chickillo in our Soho Samples Showroom as part of our "alternative gallery space" program, which highlights national and local artists in each of our showrooms across the country.

William Chickillo is a plein-air painter and colorist who owes much to American realism and the tradition of landscape painting as practiced by such masters as Albert Bierstadt, Frederick Church, Thomas Cole and George Inness. His paintings, rendered with spontaneity, intensity, fluidity and an understanding of space and light, depict the land as he has seen it. Yet his keen sense of observation does not result in photographic record, but rather a reflection of the land - its moods, its integrity, and its resilience in the face of exploitation and human encroachment.

PLEASE NOTE: Our permanent showroom on the Upper East Side (699 Madison Ave) remains OPEN. Please join us there on Dec. 3rd for a reception celebrating the work of four exciting local artists. For details please click here.
