ABOUT THE CASTINE DINING CHAIR

Like every piece in the Castine Collection, these dining chairs combine flowing, uninterrupted lines affirming Emerson’s assertion that “It is very hard to be simple enough to be good.” Designed and built to achieve an economy of materials, the resulting profiles are airy and light with elegant strength. The upholstered seat and back form a continuous flow, resulting in a gentle cascade that begins with a sculpted crest and ends where graceful legs meet the floor.
