In celebration of our 40th anniversary, we’ve gone into our archives to bring back some of our customers’ favorite pieces from the past few decades. These limited-edition pieces will be commemorated with a brass plaque. As our thanks to you, a copy of Tom Moser’s noted book, Artistry in Wood, signed by Tom personally, will arrive with each Vintage limited-edition order.

In the 19th century, a chest such as this was used in the barn to hold grain. A number survived and without exception are replete with mouse holes—even those lined with tin (our updated revision is lined with aromatic cedar).
Its elegant piano hinge, rhythmic front and back panels, and generous proportion make it an ideal place for putting on shoes at the foot of a bed. It also holds all the bed linens one may wish for and might be found as a window seat with a custom cushion.
